Community Futures Parkland Volunteer Appreciation Initiative

Volunteerism has a HUGE impact on our communities and because of this Community Futures Parkland is showing their appreciation!

Do you know someone that should be taking a bow for building their community and making a difference?  Is there someone you think deserves an extra pat on the back and show of appreciation? Does someone in your community generously donate their time, energy and enhance community spirit?  Don’t you agree that these individuals warrant special recognition?

The CF Parkland Volunteer Recognition Initiative is set up for you to nominate whom you think has gone above and beyond in committing their time, skills and energy to their community.  Every nominee will receive a Volunteer Appreciation Certificate!

Because every good deed deserves another, Community Futures Parkland will also be handing out five awards that will total $1,500.00.  Each award amount of $300.00 will be donated to the volunteer and they in-turn will give the contribution to the charity or community project of choice that is located within the Parkland.  In addition to receiving the cash, the volunteers will be highlighted in papers throughout the Parkland and presented with a certificate of appreciation.

A VOLUNTEER is a person who freely offers to do something or a person who works for organizations without being paid. Community Futures volunteer committee will select the award recipients during Manitoba’s Volunteer Week, April 15 – April 21, 2012. Nomination forms may also be downloaded here! If you require any further information please call Jami Turetsky at 546-5100 or email jami@cfparkland.ca

Community Futures Parkland believes strongly in this initiative and looks forward to your nomination.

The deadline for applications is Monday, March 26, 2012.
